LIVE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

LEGENDS: Morricone, Rota, and Mancini is a CCWT symphonic project celebrating the greatest Italian film composers of all time with their iconic melodies, which have defined cinematic history. This orchestral tribute, divided into three parts, will not only entertain but also educate the audience about the artistry of these composers, highlighting their contributions to the art of film music.

The program begins with Ennio Morricone’s works, including among others the iconic "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" main theme - the powerful orchestral piece that encapsulates the essence of the Spaghetti Western genre, the sweeping dramatic score from "Once Upon a Time in the West”, the emotional "Cinema Paradiso" love theme, showcasing Morricone’s ability to evoke deep emotion. The Nino Rota’s concert section features the instantly recognizable romantic "Godfather Love Theme," the tender "Romeo and Juliet" and a classical four-part “Concerto for Strings”. The third - Henry Mancini’s - part of the concert showcases among others his lyrical classic "Moon River" from “Breakfast at Tiffany's”, the playful and jazzy "The Pink Panther Theme," and the energetic "Peter Gunn Theme" - an energetic melody that brings a sense of excitement in the end of a concert.

LIVE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

​The Michael Jackson Symphonic Tribute" by CCWT is a concert experience that pays homage to the iconic music of Michael Jackson, one of the most influential and celebrated artists in the history of pop music. This tribute features symphonic arrangements of Jackson's greatest hits, bringing a new, orchestral dimension to his songs. The concert showcases a variety of his well-known tracks, often including classics such as "Thriller," "Billie Jean," "Bad," "Smooth Criminal," and "Beat It." The arrangements blend orchestral instruments with electronic elements, creating a rich sound revitalizing Jackson's music for a new audience while appealing to longtime fans.

In addition to the live orchestra, the tribute includes vocalists, dancers, a choir, and multimedia elements, such as video projections of Jackson’s performances and visuals that enhance the overall experience. This combination of live music, choreography, and visual artistry helps celebrate his extraordinary contributions to music and culture.

JOHN WILLIAMS

TO THE STARS AND BACK

LIVE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

John Williams in Concert” is the CCWT symphonic project, celebrating the works of the composer, renowned for his ability to create memorable themes and grand symphonic arrangements that enhance the cinematic experience, is a magnificent homage to one of the most revered film composers of all time, designed to enthrall both his devoted fans and newcomers to his music. The tribute includes orchestral performances with visuals from the films being projected to accompany the music, giving the audience a multi-sensory experience.

 

The program is a carefully curated selection of Williams' most iconic scores beginning with the exhilarating and sweeping theme from "Star Wars," instantly recognizable to audiences and presented with powerful brass fanfare and soaring strings, capturing the grandeur of the galaxy far, far away. Following this opening, a series of movements highlighted various beloved films: iconic world-renowned themes from "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Harry Potter"; the sections from "Jurassic Park" showcase the majesty of nature with the vivid imagery of dinosaurs in their habitat; and "Indiana Jones Theme," inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the action-adventure spirit of the films. The concert takes a more introspective turn with pieces from "Schindler's List," drawing the audience into the emotional depths of the film with a poignant solo that echoes the somber themes of hope and redemption.

“John Williams in Concert” culminates in a rousing finale featuring the unforgettable theme from "Jaws," thunderous main themes from "The Phantom Menace" and "Superman." 

 

This symphonic tribute to John Williams is not merely a concert - it is a celebration of storytelling through music, inviting everyone to rediscover the magic that his compositions have brought to audiences around the world.
